[News] VeryCD's saga continues !!

Since September of 2003, VeryCD introduced eMule, which is a open source of downloading into China; since then, there are many internet users had already set VeryCD as a website that share musics, videos, movies, games and more. For some internet users, VeryCD equals to free download. But, these advantages have quickly became a side effect as the website became a main website that involve any internet piracy case.

But when BTchina was forced to shut down in 2009, VeryCD quickly changed their website services and removed most of the files that involved internet piracy in it. In 2009, VeryCD changed some function in eMule and this had already caused them the title of "world's top P2P shareware".

From a free download website changed to a free to watch, website creator of VeryCD, Wang Yi Men said:" There will be no one willing to stop a website that have already managed for 7 long years; but we had already expected that this day will come although not this suddenly.......Even if we have to start all over again, we will never give up."

According to Mr.Wang's plan, VeryCD only have a way to develop, it's "leading" internet users to cooperate with some copyright sources.

The word "leading" here means a link that provide internet users to those websites that had genuine copyright. VeryCD has became a provider to those genuine copyright's websites and this may cause their old users go and find a new free download source.

There are still some internet users are still reluctantly at the VeryCD, but some other internet users have decided to take action by finding a new internet free download source in no time. Any website that provide free download always has a threat of an issue of internet piracy, who will become the next VeryCD ??
