Not long ago , Baidu has been listed in the US Trade Representative’s notorious list of counterfeiting and piracy for both physical and online markets.

This time , Baidu is taking action to remove millions of document from it online library platform that contain any related to piracy.
According to spokesman Kaiser Kuo, Baidu evaluated about 2.8 million files and deleting most of the file.Baidu continues to find and delete files that contain violent the piracy right.

Baidu Library or know as Baidu Wenku in chinese, is a service allowing user to upload a file or document to share them.In mid-March , the site has more than 20million document but now has fallen to 16.5million after Baidu start delete file that violent piracy right.

Is the action taken by Baidu will help reduce illegal sharing or not ?
To me , the action taken by Baidu will greatly reduce the illegal file-sharing by user for a while only. Because later on , people will still continue upload and share some file with copyright because no action is taken to the user.
